#56840 Hi am trying to figure out if I wired my MAP Sensor up the wrong way round.

Does anyone have access to a wiring diagram for the MAP sensor or can someone tell me what way round the 3 wires need to go.

Currently I have got the left and the middles ones changed over with the right hand one not moving, this is when the plug is looking at you with the clip at the top is the the right way round???

#56849 are you sure you don't have your MAP and TPS plugs swapped?

They are the same shape plug and can reach each other. I don't have my manual here so I don't know the colors. But I recall the MAP sensor having jamacian colors on the wires (red white yellow green) but not in that order.

#56858 I have added this to my EJ2 B16 swop so didn't have one on it to start with so I know I've not got any sensors mixed up and the CEL check is coming back as a code 3 MAP sensor so wanna check I've got it right before I start taking it apart.

It could be the sensor it self so have a spare I could check once I know the wiring is correct.

#58184 check out the voltage readings on your sensors if you don't have a spare.

Thanks is all sorted now it was the sensor itself so changed it for the spare I had lying about.

Do have a new problem which is either my ficv or my iacv either way got spares of both of these and will be fixing it this weekend. :thumb:

Yeah I know at first I thought I might have the same problem my mate has as I have moved it and it works on vaccum pressure I first thought the pipe might be to long and not having enough pressure going to the sensor but I did need a new one.
