You are definitely going to have alot of fun. Nothing like working on a Honda in the blistering summer heat lol, but I wouldnt have it any other way. Anyhow, just to comment on the advice on using torque mounts, I would STRONGLY suggest doing it. Just a rule of thumb that myself along with other car friends of mine have come up with is this; "If it is swapped, make sure it wont end up popped." Meaning, that always use an at least "Decent" set of engine torque dampers (Torque Mounts). Although they arent the actual mount, they act as a support beam for the mounts to avoid severe vibration wearing out the bushings and the mount itself. Nothing wrong with being extra safe. You can get some decent and strong ones from ebay for like $75-$150. Just depends on name. Just please dont get the crappy $30 ones. They are crap and dont hold up any better than a non-billet mount lol. Just tryin to help ya out and give ya some pointers.
Also, if you areinterested to see my project (Somewhat similair to yours), you can just look at the thread that says "94 EG Hatch Re-birth of an angel" for details.
If ya ever need any help or tips, let me know, bro.
Take care and the best of luck, again.

here are some better pics of the tranny. also does anyone have a walk threw on how to get this into the hatch? i'm not spending $13-1500 on a conversion kit for H2B. i might as well buy a 3rd car with that.
its very dirty i know. non-LSD. makes me sad but oh well.

if anyone is in NH an close to manchester or is willing to drive down (or up) to help me out when it comes time to drop the swap in let me know. an engine hoist and/or a 3rd set of hands would be really nice. other then that it would be me, 1 other friend, and a floor jack. plus some help from someone who has done a swap CORRECTLY (i've done a few but never on this level. just engine replacement not upgrade) would be nice. plus he keeps calling it "seabiscuit" so it might just end up being me and moving a 500 pound motor alone is a bad idea.

Nice hole in the engine bay under the fuse box. Pretty cool if I do say so myself. Pretty sure its adds 3 horse power. Anyway I was pulling wires an stuff an hooking up the harness to the engine an what not and came up with a question. I have the SOHC VTEC wire harness still. Would it work if use that or will h22 harness clip right to the rest of it? Both are OBD1 so I don't see why not but just thought I'd ask to be sure.
