- Mon Sep 12, 2011 2:17 am #271461 Na dude I dont play. When I want to do something I go ahead and get it done. lol it also helps that I have done 5spd conversions before. I already had some 5 spd axles but comparing them to the auto ones, I didnt see much if any difference.

anyway. made a few more touches

That's the right attitude to have :thumb: I think it looks better with letters sanded down :D

when I bought the car, the power locks and the passenger front window didn't work. I just did some diagnosing and came up with broke wires and terminals where the driver door plugs into the body harness. Looks like tomorrow I'll be going to the junkyard to get a door harness and the pigtail off the body harness.

- Thu Sep 15, 2011 4:23 am #272103 :woot: went to the junkyard today and came back with another door harness, harness pigtail from body to door, mud guards, and a fender liner for $20.

Got all of it installed and I now have all 4 power windows and power locks!!! :thumb:

Thus far I am roughly $1200 into this car. Going to get the windows tinted pretty soon, I was waiting to get all the windows working first.

oh and I sanded the emblem on the valve cover, it's now now and shiny.
