- Fri May 27, 2011 5:11 pm #257048 Update!!! The new job is goin good aside from gettin up at six am but I don't mind especially since I'm gettin 40hrs $10.64 and full benefits. I can't wait to get my first full check!

A few things I'm getting are:

more fabric
silver and black krylon fusion
a couple little things for the interior
rear bumper from certifit

For fathers day I think my girl is gonna throw down on a cd player with me so I can have tunes in my car. The one I want has Bluetooth, ipod and iPhone control, and it can do pandora. I wish I could afford the DVD player I want it has everything above plus navigation but it's $700 and I don't want to have to wait to save money so maybe when I get taxes

Time to start painting... I'll get some more pics up as I start to paint... I'm going to pull most the pieces tomorrow so I can get to it. Anyone know how to get the clear plastic off the gauge cluster so I can paint the gauge bezel?

The part that is yellow I'm going to paint satin black and the I'm going to tear the vinyl off clean it up and recover it in black microsuede like I did with my a-pillars

These are getting paint... the scheme is black and silver with these pieces but I'm not quite sure what combination yet but I did paint the door pocket handles up front the silver I have to see what I thought..what do y'all think?

- Tue Jun 21, 2011 8:24 pm #260262 Lil update....my last check sucked cause I got less than 60hrs for 2wks but they should be full checks from here on out..I'm getting 76 on the next check and 76 plus 8hrs of holiday pay on the one after that so look for some good updates

In the meantime I have been at a stand still with my interior.. I got the back door panels off stripped of the vinyl and the inserts separated just got to take the foam off and get the fabric to recover them. I am still deciding on a few things in the interior as well and will decide when I have cash in hand. I did paint the door sill plastic black and will be trying to get a 1.5-2in strip of aluminum to accent the plain door sills.

Oh also got to drive my friends fodo with a b18a in it and i am sold...tax time next year I'm lookin for a whole ls integra or will get what I need for the swap if I can't find a whole car. Also he just recently rebuilt his front end and it drives so smooth so once I get to a point I'm happy with in the interior I'm gonna start stocking up on suspension pieces I.e ball joints tie rods cv shafts bushings etc so I can rebuild mine

Anyway I'm hopin the updates will start getting better here soon you'll just have to wait and see :D
