lol

We'll have to meet up sometime. Let me know when you roll through OKC again.

UPDATE: Passenger (Driver) door has been converted to LHD. It was a bitch, and this was my first time, but got everything installed, window in place, and everything works. I even put in the original gathers speaker, and it doesn't sound to bad. lol

Pics soon!

Not happy i spent my birthday doing this. :(

Confirmed: NO component in the EG9 door is the same, and if you want to avoid splicing and cutting up wires, you will have to transfer everything from your LHD door into the RHD door. Window motor...lock mechanism...door harness...

I'm done with the car today.

#200506 looking good. theoretically couldn't you use the exsisting door harness from the US door and use it in the JDM door?.

That was my first theory before i swapped everything over.

I was wrong.

lol

The harness that goes into the window motor is much different, and i'm assuming because of the auto down and auto up feature on the window, but i'm not sure, so i couldn't use it.

THEN the door lock harness was different too, so i tried to work around this, but it just wasn't going to work lol.

#200630 ^^ Correct. It's important to realize the differences b/w JDM and USDM door harnesses. JDM door locks work differently (no switch - all doors open w/ key), the door lock relay is thus wired different (though p/n is the same), and the window actuator w/ Auto-down is located on the opposite side. I *believe* that the window actuator motors can be swapped side to side. The OP will need to remove the power folding mirror wires, also, from the JDM harness in order to get that feature functioning.

OP, you will also want to separate your JDM folding mirrors and mount the mirror and case onto your USDM mirror bracket (thing that mounts to the door). This is because the angles of these brackets is not meant for an LHD car. Acutally, you'll also probably want to swap the mirror glass over, too. CHeck my DIY for the safest way to do this. You'll also want to re-pin the mirror wires that adjust the angle (3 wires) like your USDM ones.

#200879 Now you have to put an LSD in since it's written on your rear window.
