thanks man :thumb: yeah i'm really confident that i could get 300whp with simply bigger injectors. i'm running some DSM 450's at ~11.0 AFR in boost at 13psi so they are pretty much worked, if i were to get some 780's or so i could get a lot more fuel in there and the turbo i'm sure is big enough to get me to 300whp.

i for sure couldn't get to 400, maybe 350 on pump gas but i would need a new BOV as well because the HKS's can't hold a lot of boost pressure. my goal overall is to get to 300whp so maybe next year... :lol: if the block holds up

nothing like a 300whp civic.... i just wanna smoke some dual cams lol

#154360 ive been giving some thought to boosting a sohc and saving some dough, rather than swapping a b series and then doing n/a, how responsive is a boosted sohc, my evo had a bit of turbo lag till it hit around 2000 rpm, but then again it was at 20psi, just wondering what the over all feel of your setup is like, i was thinking of going with a z6, or jdm d15b, either way i was only looking for 200whp maybe a lil more. any thoughts bro.

well, if i recall, the evo turbo is pretty small to help with the spool right? even at 20psi, it should build that rather quickly...

my car acts like a standard car below 3000rpm if you stay out of the gas, if you get on it, it starts building at ~2500rpm and hits full boost right around 3500-3800 but my turbo is a t3/t4 which is a rather large setup for this engine and i knew that going in... i looked up the compressor maps and what the power out put would be plus i bought it used for cheap so i couldn't complain :lol:

now if i were you, only looking for ~200whp, i would slap on a t25 turbo (like a used saab turbo) which will provide you quick ass spool (like 2000rpm), decent power all the way through the powerband. they pretty much top out at ~225whp is why i didn't want to go with one...i want 300whp eventually :twisted:

get a GREAT tune and you can run ~220whp on the stock bottom end, just get ARP headstuds to be safe, let me know if you got any other q's....

so i might have FINALLY found that fuggin water leak by the dizzy i could never find: IM gasket... so i got a new thermostat since i didnt replace it before, and the list : thermostat, gasket, IM gasket and heater hose:

oh i should probably look in to that :D i used some good ol' J-B Weld to seal them up, i originally had the holes the right size to thread them the jb-weld seals the vapors
