I have one question..... what about gear changing? how can you attach it if the transmission is behind the engine?

via a steel gear linkage or via a mechanism with cables, like in a K20, quite simple actually, when I get around to that you'll see how easy that is..

cool, I was sitting here thinking that that would be on long shifter linkage

ek has been on a hold, suspension parts etc were being powder coated and we were waiting for engine mounts and the sadev seq gearbox.

Mocked up some things today.As was expected I need a camber correction kit (which was planned anyhow!) though it is not much, I already anticipated this since when I compared the arms it seemed the awd arm with crv bearing and itr hub needed a wheel with a lower offset to be able to clear the arm itself, I discovered this when I put on the btcc wheel which is 8x19 etc +55. However conclusion is I need to lower the engine about 2 cm's and then I will be allright. The downward angle of the driveshaft will be reduced since I now mocked it all up with a stock shock and spring and it will be lowered drastically.

Angle which is more likely on another car (EK/ K20) I'm building, although this car also needs more lowering of approximately 4cm
