#101952 5psi that's all? Is that even worth it?

If you're changing the head gasket then you will have to replace the head bolts. Honda head bolts are "one time use ONLY" because they stretch when torqued. People that re-use them always blow the head gasket soon afterward.

New head bolts from Honda cost just under $300. A set of re-usable ARP head studs that are much stronger cost somewhere around $100.

I would leave the fuel system etc to the tuner. In fact, that's the only person you should be taking advice from.

Your stock MAP sensor is good to about 10psi.

Most importantly, what kind of fuel management are you going to be using? Hopefully you're not planning on some fuel and ignition hacks that I relate to using cardboard and duct tape on a broken windshield.

#102892 ok dont laugh, i got the kit off ebay. but i know someone who has the same kit but for a d series... and hes runnen fine. the reason im gonna boost so low. is im out of money. i really shouldnt even put it on yet. but this guy put the same kit on his 95 coupe and is boosting 5psi and he's had no problems since and all he has is that kit on there, and its bone stock other wise... i hear 7 psi is a good starting point for the b18c1 and i didnt want to push it... so yeh. im not doing anything else right now. its goen to be a bone stock gsr. other then 9.2mm wires. a stage colder plugs, the head gasket, cold air intake, and dual exhaust... i was thinking of 7 psi, but i thought with nothing else going to be done for a while 5 psi would be ok. i have no idea of what kind of anyhing im gonna use. and thanks for the tip about the head bolts. i didnt know....

#103035 as soon as i saw ebay in the link i knew

DO NOT get this kit!

Here are some of the claims that should raise a red flag:

"It Can Hold Up To 1200HP Or 25 PSI Of Boost Pressure"

"PSi Drop under 0.2. Other Intercooler usually drop 1-2 Psi Some are More "

"Direct OEM fitment "

"Easy to adjust from 1-30PSI"

First of all 1200 hp huh? never mind that
the even throw a manual boost controller to actively decrease the non blowed up b18 population!
this kit made me mad
i cant emphasise enough
do not get it
this is like what a manifold should cost not a whole kit
save your money
