So ive decided to find a nice shell and swap over my motor and trans from the ex. Civics seem to be way over priced this time of year however.
Because of this im going to pick up a really clean auto shell (coupe) for 1k. No rust or body damage. Ill still be swapping in my manual set up so it may take me more than a few days to get it all worked out. Ill post pictures of the car sometime this weekish and create a new thread for the car after i get it on the road.
Im planning on swapping the wheels, engine and tranny, as well as the ecu and any wiring that is involved in switching from auto non vtec to manual vtec.
Ill also make a diy on this as it appears there is not one.
EDIT: also its supposedly an si shell. It has power everything, sunroof, rear disk brakes etc. But didnt the si's only come with d16z6 and 5-speed. Either way, it still has all the stuff i would miss if it werent there. Just a thought though. Im wondering if it already has wiring for things like vtec in it. Because now that i realize he said it was si, that would make it a lot easier to swap.
