- Thu Feb 05, 2009 2:02 am #94290 So my hatch started out as some ghetto ass shell my friend picked up from a guy in VA Beach. The project was a bit much for him, I ended up pulling the y7 turbo I had in my Del Sol and dropping his z6 in it and traded chassis.

Car was hella fuggin ugly:


This came with it too.... Celicas are gay, so are their hoodscoops.... why the hell would anyone want to put one on a EH2 hatch I have no idea. The hood stayed on until I found a replacement


Put all the glass in it and got it moving again

Oh... and the CF duckbill haha

(Shit, it's still ugly)


Had the ching chang meow turbo for a while @ 8psi.... Yes it WAS an ebay kit until I got hold of it since nothing fit(which was expected)

Was all fun and games, then I decided I wanted to try 12psi. Was street tuning it, ostrich came unplugged top of 3rd gear 12psi... detonated due to no fuel and got this



Real men put hole through both sides of the block.

Bought this gem that was rear ended for $1700. JDM h22a and lsd trans. Dude ended up giving me $300 back because the tranny was screwed up... someone took it apart and forgot to put a diff bearing in.




Got a new hood while I was at it and some crappy 13" no name wheels


Needed some color:




Looked good till I caught a deer and a guard rail(tryin to miss the deer)


Got it back from the body shop, need to have it repainted since no one makes the paint I used anymore... she sits under the cover for the winter while I do some upgrades to the motor O:-)

Used the pipe bender at my old job to do all my i/c pipes






Seemed like a good idea at the time lol


I had the right idea, but the dyes on the 1980s Ben Peirsons Muffler shop wouldn't let me do it >.<

Damn automatics kill the fun of a turbo car:


eventully swapped it over to a 5-speed after I hit yet another deer. Come to think of it that car has hit:
1 Turkey Buzzard
3 Crows
2 Deer
1 Hunting Dog
1 Bear

Guy I sold it to has hit 2 deer with it last year. I got tired of buying head lights, corners and fenders

As for the question of y7 turbo vs the h22. H22 pulls like a raped cheeta on cocaine. The y7 turbo was alright after the 5-speed swap. Only thing localy that beat me was a 01 F-250 with a banks upgraded turbo kit. Air Port has a "track" day everyonce in a while. I don't live near any race tracks and I don't condone street racing
