- Sun Aug 10, 2008 9:29 pm #65338 Today i went to Andys to flat and polish my replacement wing, as it was bubbling and slightly the wrong colour red.

So, firstly i helped andy flat and polish the wing




Colour difference between the new and old



Whilst fitting the new wing, i replaced the arch liners as they were all worn from the big wheels and charge piping from the turbo.

I also (with andys help) polished the roof, as it was looking abit sorry for itself

- Sat Aug 23, 2008 5:10 pm #67121 Another small update, ive been banging on for a while now about removing the TYC clear headlamps and going back with the OEM stanley headlamps as the pattern on the glass doesnt match the ambers, plus i fancied putting the OEM clear corners back on for a change. Sad, i know

My OEM ones were dirty and stained inside, i decided to open them using the oven trick......but i melted one . So i set off to a mates to get some mint condition spares he had. £10 and the deal was done, i also got the OEM corner indicators (all for £10 )

When i got them they were filthy, so a clean was in order..(excuse the car being filthy)




After some sugar soap and abit of scrubbing they were clean



For reference this is how the TYC's were

Difference in the two..



I definately prefer the OEM headlamps so they will be staying, i'm undecided on the amber or clear corners though, but i'll leave the clears on for the time being for a change!

This is my inspiration





Spoon splitter is going to have to be ordered now
