They do need a bit of work to look real good, but for the price i couldn't pass it up.



If we cant refinish them are selfs, I think we may get them professionally re done.


Anybody got any pics of blades on some civics and tegs? I dont kno if I want to polish them or paint them.

- Wed May 28, 2008 2:18 pm #56845 as long as there are no huge gouges or chunks missing from the lip, then polishing will take care of them. just start with a lower grit paper on the scratched up areas.

yea theres a guy around here that does the same thing but its way to expensive its over 100 bucks a wheel

You could go even further with them if you go up to 2000 grit, then they look almost like chrome. a ton of work though

- Sun Jun 01, 2008 12:28 am #57194 got one rim complete with 400grit sand paper! heres how bad the lip was and how much better it turned out. whats left for grits..600, 800,1000, 1500, 2000, then will be ready to polish lol.
