#5188 I forgot to make a list of the engine chassis grounds before I took everything out... Now I'm sure I'm forgetting one :?

1. Valve Cover
2. Thermostat
3. Transmission

Was there one on the starter too? any others?

#16277 I only have two groundwires, the thin one on the valvecover and the thicker one on the bracket at the gearbox...

Recently renewed both, just used some audio cable I had laying around (25mm? @ gearbox / 16mm? @ valvecover), kept them as short as possible and made the end pieces of wire solid with tin, and soldered the ends into cable shoes, perfect contact :)

Runs a bit smoother it seems, no increase in light brightness or fuel economy etc.

#16289 I think the starter is supposed to have a ground too....

#16293 Doesn't the starter get its ground from the engine itself?

All I have is a big 12v+ cable to it, and a smaller one (on/off signal?), and it works perfectly :)

#47045 i just bought a grounding kit for my eg. its seems that i can diy it. i understand that all these wires from these grounding points should be connected to the negative pole on the battery right?

how about the oem ground wire to the body from the engine for example, do i just replace it with the new ground wire or reroute it to the negative pole as well?

any suggestions where the good grounding points are?

thanks a bunch
