**Dash light problem**

- Thu Mar 06, 2008 2:36 pm #45131 K, so I picked me up a coin pocket that goes in the same place as my dash light dimmer switch.

Well this is my problem.... Unplugging the dimmer switch kills my dash light completely. I dont know shiz about electrical so i assumed it would stay on and I just wouldn't be able to dim or brighten my dash light :? . So what should I do to be able to keep the coin pocket installed and still have light?? Just relocate the switch? Any help is appreciated!

wont fit..

the dimmer switch is bigger than the opening on the other side... here check it out I took this pic off another site cuz I dont have a picture of mine...

- Thu Mar 06, 2008 6:54 pm #45176 what about leaving the switch in tact plugged in, but just stuffed inside behind your dash somewhere. You wouldn't be able to adjust the dimmer, but how often do you do that...

That's what you're supposed to do. I just pushed it in right under the pocket.

- Thu Mar 06, 2008 9:22 pm #45211 The JDM cluster,clock etc.. dont operate off the Dimmer switch. Are you still running the USDM stuff or the blue tint lights in everything?

If you so, just relocate it on the lower dash panel. You just need to cut a slot out for it.
