Glad to hear there is at least some progress tho, and whoop whoop im also rust free so no more leaking in :) fetching my car today from the panelbeater...anyway cant wait to see the End result bra :thumb:

haha, Thanks Kirk. I wish i was lucky, the price i paid was steep but i needed it and i saw it the condition (perfect) myself unlike buying off the net where its a risk.

atleast he has a very very very special eg9. The only one in the world to be registered from new out of japan. That car was brought in by mbsa as a test vehicle. it was then when merc realised that had they sold it with all the creature comforts it would be way more appealing than the mercs

So engine is out and its now a bare shell... I decided to do it properly and not cut corners.

It hurts seeing my once driveable car now standing with its guts packed in boxes and marked. but if you remember i did say im building a scale model out of my car so i guess putting everything together will be one big model kit car :D ...up for the challenge.

Just got an sms from the panelshop saying colour is going on today and by sunday it will be ready for assembly.

Knowing me its probably going to take another month or two to fit all the pieces back as I want to clean everything.

So yay, its almost done and i just realised i need a new project.... another eg sedan maybe :? , probably :woot:
