Painting my VC! pics of sand prep, & primer, ill finish the job tomorrow had to stop early cause if ,, reasons. it s a long story. going to paint it white tho
removing VC
took a rubber mallet to loosen up the vc, cause it was hot while i did this
off
next step, AIRCRAFT paint remover, didnt think this stuff would actually work until i spray it off with water and WOW what a suprise
ready for sanding and later more aircraft paint remover for perfection
took some 80 grit sand paper and went to town
more aircraft paint remover
Done!
plugged the spark plug holes and bolt washer holes with some paper towel and it felt like i was stopping a bloody noes haha
first coat of primer
think this is second
brought it outside because of my bright idea to paint it during daylight savings season, i started the project around 4pm and it got dark and cold by 5 so , took it outside to dry by windyness.
still need to sand, and 2 more coats of primer

finished the sanding today
first coat of color sprayed all the little corners and sloped areas
sanding color coat, dont mind that sanding tool or the sanding block didnt used those
THIS was annoying!
this little spot wasnt drying so i took some extra action! lol with an extra old hair dryer
NOW CLEAR COAT
done !
