- Tue Dec 13, 2011 6:34 am #285179 had car Painted DARKer BLUE tryna match OEM style, finished paintjob result my car looks blue sometimes but mostly a CHEAP looking purple in the sunlights anyway can i darken the paint with some waxes or something??? reaaaallly disappointed my car is purple and WHY?

If you check out my 1993 Civic LX thread, you'll see that my blue paint when I brought it in for a paint job didn't turn out the way I wanted. I've grown into it and now think that the color is unique and matches well! The paint was supposed to be Harvard Pearl Blue..but I guess I forgot to mention "Harvard Pearl".
