I bought some steelies with tires i plan to change since
tires are all different, while i was changing the wheels i
took out the strut to install lowering springs but didn't have
a toolso i put it back on and installed the wheels, then i drove
a little and the steering was BAAD, i dont know if its
cause the tire tread or cause i messed up the suspension
alignment, it pulls to the left and when i
turn right the wheel gets tighter??? i have powering
steering. i loosened the lugs before jackn it up and use
maybe excess force to loosen it, whats the problem???

- Mon Oct 10, 2011 3:44 am #276999 When installing lowering springs, you must get an alignment after. Lowering causes toe-out which will chew up the inside of your tire tread if not corrected.

i dont think he put the lowering springs on :? sounds like he just put the struts back in cause of not having the tools to install the springs.

did you check the tires for a slipped/broken belt?

think it could be anything else besides the tires lemme
know i want to check it out, instead of checking tires im
gonna throw away, can this happen from
not tightening the lugs enough?? i mean there not loose
like you cant un screw them with your hand

I hope you at least torqued the lugs down tight with a breaker bar if you don't have a torque wrench. A ratchet isn't enough. If the lugs are coming off, you'll know it when the wheel starts to wobble.

Uneven worn tires can cause problems, especially if they're directional and you put them on backwards as mentioned above.

in the strut fork, i had to push the axel (i think its
the axel the thing the strut fork connects to) pressed
it down to get the bolt to go through the hole like a
about a quater of an inch on the side the car pulls towards
