- Sat Oct 13, 2007 7:10 pm #26380 for best results do not use a steam cleaner...the steam cleaner has smaller water partials and they get into your electrical connections and cause corrosion. just buy a can of degreaser and use a pressure washer or hose...i learn that from detailing cars

- Sat Oct 13, 2007 7:52 pm #26382 What if your bay is SERIOUSLY dirty? I tried two shots of the degreaser, let the engine heat up, spray, let it sit, and then rinse and it barely made a dent. I think I'm gonna have to get in there and use some old fashioned elbow grease, along with some DW-40 or something especially on the underside of my hood

- Sun Oct 14, 2007 2:43 am #26411 I need a good car degreaser/bomb lol. My entire '93 could use a good tearing-apart-cleaning-and-putting-back-together. There's dirt in places that you wouldn't imagine dirt could get, whoever had it before me NEVER cleaned it
