- Sat Jun 26, 2010 1:24 am #202037 Man that Crossmember was a B@#$ to get out!! We had to take it out with the FLCA's still connected and then my Dad cut a whole out so we could get them off... Well Here's a update of what I did today!!




Crossmember Done!


Sway Bar Before

Tie Rod/Lower Ball Joints and Sway Bar Bushings-:)

- Sat Jun 26, 2010 1:28 am #202038 Tomarrow I will be bolting the Front Crossmember back on and replacing the Tie Rod and Lower Ball Joint Bushings. I also ordered some Inner Front Control Arm Bushings that will be putting on tomarrow as well. Then I am Hoping that the Coupe will be running again!!!!!!!

- Wed Jun 30, 2010 6:54 am #202587 I didn't get to post these the other day. Painted the M/C Bronze and this is how the Brake Booster came out, its textured but u can't really tell in this pic. Also got new oem bushings in the FLCA in!!!

I didn't get to post these the other day. Painted the M/C Bronze and this is how the Brake Booster came out, its textured but u can't really tell in this pic. Also got new oem bushings in the FLCA in!!!

Is it hard to take this off^^ and put them back?

No its pretty easy u just gotta make sure that when u take the Master Cylinder off that u use a Flare Nut Wrench to unbolt the brake lines!!! U cant just use a box end wrench because it will strip the nut and then its a @#$@ to get off..
And for the Booster there is a Pin that is under the dash on the drivers side, where the booster connects to the brake pedal. U have to push that out before u can get it unbolted and out. Oh and I had to take off some things like the throttle bracket and booster hose bracket.When the booster is unbolted out have to move it around (Pull it toward the Intake Manifold but try to get it under a lil then once the part that hooks to the pedal is out then just slide it out) to get it fit through the Intake Manifold if u have it in there. Move ur brake lines too cause they will be in the way.

It would probably easier if u had the engine/motor out of the car..

Oh and when u put your new or replacement M/C back u gotta bench bleed it to get the air out of it!!

I did a couple things today like put on my rear mud guards I picked up for $5..I also touched up the bay a lil and put the Benen radiator stay on...I am going to tuck the headlight wiring and I also put the Benen ECU cove lid on! I am hoping to get the tires by the end of the week and also plan on getting pics!!

- Wed Aug 04, 2010 12:02 am #207327 So I picked up a set of 2005 Civic Rims with tires!! I also got the drivers side headlight wiring done!! I am gonna get the passenger side done by this weekend and then the alignment! I'll post pics later!!
