- Mon Jul 30, 2007 1:49 pm #17868 i finally decided to stop being lazy and do something to my motor so this past weekend i finally took off the exhaust manifold so i can give the block a good cleaning. the bolt were easy to get out but it was like rusted onto the head i had to pry the shyt out of it to get it off eventually i got it off though. i bought a couple of cans of carb cleaner i got a heavy duty brush and a couple of scrapers to scrape off any shyt on the block. here some pics of the motor.

Next i plan on taking off the head and taking the block and head to get resurfaced. then start buying the gaskets seals bearings rings and all that fun stuff the get the build going.
