- Fri Feb 20, 2009 3:30 am #97627 I'm going to wait until my current stock engine in my hatch goes bad until I do a swap since I'm getting around 40 MPG right now and travel several hundred miles and up to 1500 at a time for work driving to canada/mexico, but I was thinking about going with a b16 when this engine goes bad and was wondering what gas mileage I should expect.

- Fri Feb 20, 2009 4:08 am #97634 depends on the tranny. an ls tranny on a b16 gets pretty good mileage. but it wont pull like it does with a gsr or b16 tranny.
