ok i want to do a ls-vtec but i need some advice.. i want to do a boosted ls-vtec and i want some input on my set up so here it is:

1. ls block
2. ls tranny
3. b16 head (jdm)
4. gsr cams, valvetrain, etc.
5. forged low compression pistons
6. chipped gsr or itr ecu
7. gsr crankshaft

so is this good or bust?? thats the basic idea on what my set-up is so input would be gladly accpeted... thanks :thumb: :thumbdown:
im a sohc kinda guy but i want to do something new.. got kinda bored of my sohc non-v

Eagle rods.
Darton Sleeves if you wanted.
ARP head bolts.
Valves/retainers/springs.

off the top of my head with what my friend did. Must be alot more however.

Whats the point of building an LS/VTEC is you use the GSR crank. Might as well build GSR.

they have different strokes.
