From what car do the calipers come?

I own a 95 coupe wich originally has 240mm discs and tiny calipers.
I got Goodridge braided brake lines for that... just the normal ones, no special brake lines.
Those lines fitted perfectly on my three calipers;
- stock 240mm (Civic LSI),
- upgraded to 260mm (Civic VTI),
- and now the 280mm (DC2 ITR).

So I don't get what's the problem.
Those brake lines will even fit NSX calipers, Accord Type-R (dual piston) calipers, let's just say; all Honda calipers I know off.

EDIT:
By the way, wrong forum.
IMO this should go in the 'Suspension' part of the forum :)

If they are too long, then they are not connected the right way...
