i finished putting the head and tranny and everything off my b17 motor two weeks ago it ran fine all last week until bout thursday or friday now my motor makes a weird noise not a rod knock noise though and it has no power and i can drive it to 4 thousand rpm then it loses power so i have to shift it will also make a weird noise and i will drive in fifth and it loses all power like wont wanna go so i down shift and then it kinda goes but makes a weird noise and now it will start but i have to keep the gas pushed all the way to the floor and keep pumping it while i turn the key anyhelp or suggestions???

When I am cruising in fifth gear it will occasionally lose power, in this case forcing a downshift. At present it will start, though it requires the full throttle opening and intermittent pumping of the pedal while I turn the key. Can anyone offer any help or suggestions?

found out what was wrong the cam gear slipped and fucked up where the key sits on the cam so i am looking and think i found a new one

will do i found a set of gsr cams so i might be getting those
