I have a question, what if any are the differences between the B16 engines (I.E. B16a, a2, and a3) My coupe has an A, not an A2 or 3 but an A. I need to know if I but internals for an A2 that they will fit my car.

internally all the pistons are the same ( i think its been awhile since i looked at the differences) P30 pistons etc..
BUT there is a difference in cams i for got its either the 170hp B16's, the Del Sol Vtec ( A2 i belive), have more aggressive cams compared to B16 Civic Si (not big difference but yea they are supposedly different just by a tad.
but other than that yea

i think that B16A is on 92-95 civic SiR and B16A2-3 are on the civic 96-00 SiR,not very sure though...
Well as far as that goes, I am going to get a new fuel rail and pressure regulator (possibly AEM). what car do I need to get them for or does it really matter since I don't have the factory intake or injectors.

the B16A is JDM -- 170hp it came in the civic VTI or SIR japan
the B16A2,3 are USDM -- 160hp and came in the 99-00 civic SI and 96-00 SIR (not sure of last one).
