fuel pump not engaging

ok so i go out today to start my coupe with a fresh ls swap running a p28. i turn it over hear the fuel pump engage and it fires well it flooded out n wouldnt stay running i guess cause i aint tuned my ecu yet(or put the proper p75). i go to start it back and i do not hear the fuel pump engage and the engine just turns.so i wait 15 minutes and try again still nothing i go back 2 hours later nothing.

I would check the main relay first.

x2, they seem to be tempermental if they are oe.

ya ive had trouble with them before and thought that was my problem but i have no idea how to test it and see if its good

Take it out and pull off the plastic cover. Inside look at all of the solder joints on the circuit board. If any are cracked (they will be very tiny cracks), then re-solder those spots. It is from heating/cooling over the years that can cause the solder joints to crack. Then they will expand/contract with the temperature which makes the relay work/not work sometimes.
