gsr swap map sensor help

how is a 94 obd1 gsr swap(map sensor in the harness) into a 92 lx(firewall mounted map sensor) supposed to have the map wired? the wires for the factory setup are ran right into my ecu as my only map wires. and i dont have any voltage out to the map sensor thats in the engine harness. BUT the thing is the car ran like this somehow when i bought it. can anyone give me some info?

use the factory (to the car) setup, run a vacuum line from the engine to the map...

i had the same issue cuz i also have i 92 what i did was i built a harness and ran it right to the ecu directly

yeah i have the one from the ecu hooked up now thanks for the help guys but wheres that vacuum line supposed to come from?

off the intake manifold... doesnt matter exactly where as long as it sees vac.
