that explains everything! my car doesnt have a bouncing idle when its cold but when its warm its ridiculous, and would having no pcv valve allow oil to go into the intake manifold ??

If u don't have ur pcv valve installed I don't kno how it would connect to ur intake manifold with the hose :? Just try it out and see if it works. My pcv valve broke off in the manifold and it was a bitch to take out cuz its brittle and breaks off easily.

i have a hose that just runs from the black box on the back to the vacuum port on the intake manifold, i no that there is a ball bearing in a pcv valve that allowes the gas fumes to go through and nothing else but i dont have that.
and is ther a diy for taking out and putting in a pcv valve

Not having a PCV in the system doesnt let the harmful fumes exit the crankcase inturn making ur oil sludge and stuff like that. you would smell the fumes eventually and u will see smoke at idle... white too. gettin one in or having a catch can set up will help you tons and save the engine for ya..

so not having it while create the effect of a blown headgasket blowing white smoke if thats what im understanding correctly
