Ive got a Jdm B18c Sir-G motor in a 93 cx hatch. And im having a driving problem. It doesnt do this ALL the time but most of the time. Im cruising at like 40 mph and the car seems to bog down like chug back and forth quickly. So i give it some gas and the car accelerates and the problem goes away for like 30 seconds then comes back. Sometimes its so bad i floor the car and it doesnt help it. So i downshift to 4th and back to 5th. Any idea?

sounds like a fuel/fuel pressure problem.

Sounds like a random ignition misfire. Could be caused by faulty distributor cap, spark plug wires, very bad plugs, or rotor screw bouncing around inside the cap. If that isn't it, get yourself a multimeter and test the coil and ignitor.
Anything anyone tells you is going to be a guess. You need to just buckle down and start pulling stuff off and looking at it.

i dont throw any CEL lights or anything. Did a tuneup on it like 4K miles ago cap rotor plugs...etc. How would i test the coil and the ignitor?

So no CEL at all not even when it does the issue.. Look in the dizzy and replace the ICM.. before it gets worse and your car wont start at all. =]

yeah no CEL at all, not even when the problem comes up. Is there a way i can check the ICM? If so how?
If i get an aftermarket MSD cap and enternal coil blaster will that help my problem?
