I have a d16z6 with a oil leak. I havent got a chance to look real good but i know its not coming from the valve cover its lower. It only leaks when i drive it im kinda thinking its the rear main seal.

check where the vtec solenoid mounts to the head. Or it could be the head gasket itself.

I checked could get in there real good been busy today but its not the vtec solenoid my car has never gotten hot and there is never any water in the oil and only leaks a little

I can try with my phone my girl has my camera i have noticed some oil on the oil pan though i put a new drain plug in and it still does it I might not be much help decribing this but thanks alot for the time to help i really like civic eg the people are great

the rear main seal will drip from the dust cover between the motor and tranny. look there for drips.
