#48689 I'm not familiar with the brand but if I were looking at an intake manifold, I would ask myself, how much R&D did the company put into it? Do they have the equipment and know-how to even tune the manifold properly? Did they take into account plenum shape, volume, throttle body position, runner/plenum intersect, runner length/cross-section, and flange angle? Is this manifold built for N/A or FI? Chances are my shiny new manifold isn't going to distribute air to each cylinder evenly. Unfortunately the stock ECU decides fuel injector pulse width evenly for each cylinder based on an O2 sensor that combines exhaust from all cylinders, so it's going to run some cylinders lean, and some rich, which is eventually going to burn down my motor. Also, you're going to lose the sound wave tuning that's built into the stock manifold to give you a slight boost over atmospheric pressure at the mid RPMs.

Tuning intake manifolds is a science. I wouldn't put some ebay start up company's product on my car.

You're more likely to do more harm than good when changing the intake manifold and/or throttle body. With FI, it's not so critical, because you're shoving air in and not relying on tuning to suck the air in. It's much more complicated than exhaust manifold tuning where the air is being pushed out and you just want to line up the vacuum pulses between each cylinder to scavenge as much air into the combustion chamber as possible at a particular RPM.

Cause this manifold was strictly made for boost.

as far as I know. but maybe he decided he wanted real power from his D instead  They all come to the dark side eventually!
