since i can not find a ZC SOHC engine & trans im thinking ill settle with the D15B VTEC SOHC engine. is the D15 swap just like the ZC swap ? from what i found on this forum is that my D16 in my 92 SI is the same engine as the ZC and makes the swap very simple. is it gonna be the same with the D15 ???
thanks
michael

I just put a JDM D15b in my 93 Si hatch.
I used my old Z6 intake manifold since it is a bit different and I swapped over the vtec switch since the JDM motors dont have them.

its pretty much the same motor. you will want to use your z6 intake manifold and vtec switch. Mine had a bad dizzy so i used my old one too.
other than that, its all good.

you have to switch out the vtec switch (solenoid ? same thing right ?)
so that means i gotta go to the junkyard and find one cuz mines just a stock 1.5 no vtec

yes, if your vtec solenoid looks like this, you will need to change it.
no oil pressure sensor (green connector)
the p08 ecu does not care about oil pressure (for vtec).

You still dont have to change the whole thing. I didnt and it works just fine. I just put the switch on the new unit. just screws in.
