zc vtec head gasket ?

ok so im going to be getting my head resurfaced, 5 angle valve job and a bowl job. i was wondering how this would effect my compression? and wat head gasket i can use to raise the compression also and where to find one? will this effect my valves and pistons at all? any help would be greatly appreciated thank you charles

use an OEM d16z6 head gasket.

stock z6 wont.

resurfacing your head and bowl work will change your compression. All depends on how much they shave off and what they do for bowl work. Opening up the chamber will lower CR, and shaving the head will raise it.

You wont get a bump in CR unless you get a thinner gasket, and the z6 and y8 are both the same thing, and wont raise your CR. you will need to find a thinner one somewhere.

you can only raise your compression so much with a headgasket.
not enough to make a difference (performance wise).
