i was wondering are single cam zc any good

The VTEC SOHC ZC is identical to the D16Z6

it is a good motor. One of the better Sohc motors.

Cam overlap is slightly better than the Z6.

They also don't have an VTEC oil pressure switch or mounting and vacuum port for the purge solenoid.

But this is true of all JDM motors.

though identical in hp output, the d16zc vtec has greater torque than the d15b vtec.
