not sure whats goin on, but when its cold getttin to 7500rpms is no problem but as it warms up it bearly makes 6500rpms, i just did a tune up and had the timing redone thinking that it was off , and it also does not tach out at all .when it actually gets to 7500(either sittin still or cold) it just stays at 7500 and wont go ne higher not sure if thas good or not but does ne one have any ideas wht it might be ... i was thinkin maybe something with the computer but there is a CEL but i think its cuz the o2 sensor is not hooked up

that probly will help but i had a 97 civic ex with the y8 in it and it had a CEL for the o2 sensor but it ran fine but ya never know ima go try and get the old o2 sensor off the old manifold an see wht happens damn hondas its always the small things but i still love em

wanting a non vtec D series to go higher than 6500 to begin with! much less 7500. My SOHC VTEC doesnt even hit 7500.

probly exlplains code 15 and it was probly struggling atfter 5 grand cuz the vtec solenoid wire was cut..... i now think i should of look at the car more b4 i just went and bought it
