#42686 ok hey can i have a link to the stickers and shirts, i want a few stickers for my car,also i got the block and the cylinder walls are great just at the tip or it the top part its a bit bigger is that a big defect also what else should be changed in the block or replaced oem and any aftermarket parts also should i bore out the walls and get standard pistons or 0.1 or 0.2 oversize ?? and where can i get it bored or cleaned ?

#42692 you can get it bored .020 and use 75.5mm pistons. you can get vitara pistons for a good price.
local engine builders can do all the machine work & assembly

#42694 ill get a pics im gesing its not a bad thing because i see it on every motor how it is is the piston has the rings and the rings dont reach the very top so when piston on the highest level the gap between the end of top of block and rings is a bit thicker ? U GET ? and now for the parts i should replace on the mani and block ??

#42706 don't waste $$ on a throttle body right now, down the road if you are making a lot of power then upgrade the TB.

I think the vx IM is on the small side, but I never compared in person. You could buy a D16z6 IM to go with your D16z6 head. You can find the d16z6 IM's cheap, I've got one for $20.

Bolt ons like intake, header are good and not too expensive. A lighter flywheel will free up a little bit of power.

In the end, a NA d series is never going to make a whole lot of power for the amount of money you put into it.

#42707 true what is im ? intake mani ? i have an intake manifold in my delsol si i can swap it out and give it the vx 1 ?? anything alse like should i change water oump oil pum injectors , will i need presure reg ? i have a full exhaust sytem for it from headers to exhaust also aem intake thats about it also new ngk plugs+wire als what should i do with the d16a6 harnes ?? also should i get small headgasket for better compresion ?? were what kind of belt ?? what kind os studs original or new ? u know what i mean by what i need changed now ? thanks

yeah IM = intake manifold.
I wouldn't waste my time putting a less flowing intake manifold on the del sol si.
while you have a block all apart, you should replace the oil pump (if high mileage) bearings, water pump, timing belt.
no need to upgrade injectors and you won't need a new FPR.
you can buy ARP head studs, they are around $100, if you plan on boosting down the road. If you want to raise compression, then get a thinner HG, just remember you'll need to buy higher octane gas (depending on the compression ratio.
Use your VX harness, not the OBD0 a6 harness.

#42711 i already using 93 gas and what kind of gasket then autozone ? also can i sell teh a6 harness worth any money ?? do u want it free ?? and my 94 delsol si isint in pices its 100% complete and runs great i just thought to take out the im and put on the swap and then i iwll have a spare full D15z1 engine and ill take the im from that and put on delsol as im selling it after painting which is a different post ill do of the build ok so

arp head studs, if not check to see if the a6 bolts are stretch bolts. the 92-95 head bolts are stretch bolts and you're only supposed to use them once.

Timing belt too. I think you'll need one from a d16z6.
what are the resistors?

edit: and your vx tranny will work, although they have some long gears for better gas mileage = slower acceleration. a 5 sp from EX or SI would be faster.
