#307184 did a lil bit of clean up this morning. pulled the EG apart (mostly to test fit my seats that need brackets lmao) but shampoo'd the floor mats and seats. gonna let the sun go down a bit and go hit em again :)

also all my kids fit in my trunk.. which will help on those long road trips :p

for the mini me you would want a d16y8, or a d16z6 head. the y8 will give you a bump in compression, so more power.

with your trans mission you will definitely get good mpgs

Y8 heads seem like they are easier to get around here. havn't really looked though yet either. my 5th gear seems like its got NO guts at all. in most of my other cars i can still pull a bit but with the Dx its got nothing lol

ordered some white tails (Red/White) and a quick release. havn't ordered a steering wheel yet, working on a kill switch.

looking to get my hood and passenger fender fixed, and then gonna paint on it, either just a quick flat black, or a gloss black. Valve cover is going Green :) lol

yea with the dx it wont have alot of power in 5th, i think i was just for mpgs on the hwy.

#307204 makes sense :eh: lol its what i bought the car for, just means i gotta downshift.

Really need to get a tach on this car. bugs me not knowing what rpm i'm at.

Found a Y8 Head with solenoid for 100$ hoping its still available after i get paid lol. :hehe:

Sooner i get Vtec sooner i'm a cool guy

#307250 I'd rather have a Y8 head if I was going to build a mini-me. Hell, there's a DIY on here that covers absolutely ever step of the process using a Y8 head. :thumb:

#307254 thats what i'm thinkin, a bump up in compression is always a good thing. :woot:

i've been reading that D.I.Y. bout 5 - 6 times now. think i can pull off the swap in about 2 hours taking my time. shoulds super simple which makes me happy. less down time the better!

Another thing i read about is the Valve clearance. how often do you guys check that?

i think you'll be happier with a Ferio wing, Fieros were so ugly. (my ex-wife drove one)

either y8 or z6 head will give you a nice compression ratio bump with the d15b7, in the mid 10:1s.
but with the y8 head, you can use your d15b7 distributor.

I feel you bro my little girl hates long road trips
How old are your kids?

And the FERIO wing is bad ass beware replicas if it don't have OEM HONDA part numberz forget it

That's cheap for vtec head

Lol mine are 7 (as of today) 5 and 4 lol. one of the main reasons i focused on a 4dr instead of a Hatch or coupe. plus, i've really started loving how the sedan looks incomparrison.

good to know about the Ferio wings though. i'll make sure i find a OEM Honda one. even if it costs me 300$ lol

lmao i thought i was spelling that wrong   yes, i mean the Ferio wing.

and i thought only the Y8 head gave me the compression boost? or is it just higher than the Z6? either way Vtec will much enhance my way of life.

Having to let the Sedan sit for a bit, they wouldn't allow me to add it to my insurance as i've only got 4 days left on this policy lol. so i can't even drive her :(

well... least parts are still comming in! lmao
