I was looking and it's mostly small pieces I want to paint so I think I'm going to pick up a yard or two of the black microsuede I was checkin out and some 3M spray adhesive and some alcohol grab some gloves from my work and see what I can get covered. But I got to work in a hr and IFO is tomorrow so probly Monday

- Mon May 02, 2011 6:05 pm #253324 Well IFO got rained out but we still got to see the show and the burnout contest (wish I woulda entered) but good news is with wristband we get to come back in the future to watch the racing. Got a lot of ideas for mine and got to see what some things I want look like.

Also a hospital here in town called me back for an interveiw on Thursday so hopefully I get that I'm qualified for the job and it within walking distance of my house (15 min). When I get it these updates well hopefully be getting better I'm trying to get my car as together as I can before sept so I can enter the show this time not to win but just to hang out in the show.

Last thing, I'm going to see if I can go get this fabric tonight for my car and start mocking it up and see how it looks. I still need the glue some sand paper and alcohol

My buddy at napa has a friend with a 700hp turbo ek hatch I'm hopin to see and I'll keep an eye out for the red hatch. What shop you go through? I don't trust our shop in town my buddy I got this car from bought a stolen car from the owner and I've heard other horror stories. Good for a dyno and that's about all i think I'll let em do



I think most of the yards in KC are missing everything as far as honda goes lol, everytime I would go there... there would be nothing left... out in Colorado, My local yard is a GOLD MINE!! lol

As far as shops, a good one to go to in KC is JT Auto, its off 14th and Swift in North Kansas City. Its pretty badass place! Family owned and operated I know a couple ppl that work down there, The dyno will run you $45 for 3 pulls, There good people with some good prices!! Loki added to FB. Once I get this better job and you get back we can roll to JT Auto cause I def wanna do some baseline dyno runs. Where at in Colorado is your yard I plan on movin to Colorado springs before my kid is in kindergarten (he just turned one on Easter). That and I go out to colorado like twice a yr so I think I might have to make a trip here soon bring some stuff back

If you come out or even need something once I get back just give me a hollar!!! I drive home every chance I get when we get 4 day weekends and shit!! Passin thru Topeka would be too easy for me!!

Definitely when you get out stop in town well have some brews cause my house is right off the highway near downtown. And yea hopefully this job pans out cause then I'll definitely be able to have you do that. It's always nice to have out-of-state hookups especially ones who pass thu my town :thumb:

Im litterally at that junkyard every other day when Im back home!! Im always buying parts or just grabbin lil things that fit in my pockets! it wouldnt be anything for me drop it off have a beer and kick it for awhile!

As for updates nothin new been havin a bad week $$wise so it all is just on hold for now as soon as I can spare some cash though I'm gonna grab some little things I want to get outta the way. It's just hard to find time between my kid, work, and tryin to find a new job.
