#190010 alright well idk what the compression should be but all of them hit 145-150 but cylinder 3 hit 0. :( I put a lil oil in the cylinder an it hit 30. so im pulling off the head an checking the valves. then pull the block apart an check the pistons out an cylinder walls. I think im looking at new pistons an rings. an even a new bore.

#195012 Good stuff man! What are your plans for the motor? Non-vtec cam regrinds are cheap from Delta cams, usually around $100 with return shipping. A 272 cam would give you a nice bump. And the stock automatic can take abuse of at least 130hp, i know that for sure.

#195055 The only plans i have for her is to keep her stock an put a manual transmission in. I'm re-building the motor right now but everything is gonna be stock. My ej is the one that's gonna get the upgrades. I just want this to be a nice dd.

eg84dr wrote:what kind of truck bed liner did you use and what did you do to prep it before putting the bed liner on ?

The first two steps were dupli-color rust fix, it turn the leftover rust to a hard primer while stopping rust. then the second is also from dupli-color an its the self-etching primer. The third is the truck bed coating.
The bed coating i got at wal-mart for about 6$ Its the one in the spray-able can.
An the other cans ran about 6$ each from O'reilly auto parts.
The bed coating stuff impressed me on how it came out. :thumb:

it looks killer :thumb: :thumb:

I took a wire wheel on a drill an got as much off as i could. I vacuumed all the chunks up, then i took an wet towel an wiped it down then let it dry. Then from there i started the painting process. The bed coating dried a flat color. It looks better now since i got the trunk carpet on.
