- Wed Sep 14, 2011 4:06 am #271868 for some reason i took some sand paper to my fat fives to c how much paint was on them cause the last time i tried it was a nightmare cause of really deep scratches n curbrash not including the powdercoating and many layers of spray paint. but anyways the paint pretty much came right off with ease. so i started wetsanding the paint off. then i saw scratches and nics all over the place so i started sanding them out, and its been working great. I used 400 grit for the paint, n ive been using 220 grit for the scratches, nicks, and casting.

but i'm takin a break cause ive been sanding for hours tryin to get the scratches, nicks, and casting off so my back n fingers r hertin at the moment. but here's a little progress so far.

after paint was removed, and i started removing scratches. if u look hard enough you'll c two scratches on the bottom left spoke, the bottom right was already gone before i took the pic.

here's where the biggest scratches were(bottom right). what happened to them :?

n here's the spoke with least amount of nicks, they'll b gone b4 the night is over!!

also, sold the egay exhaust and went back to stock. n removed the gay faze gauges.
