The accident damage:
Just enough to push the frame back a 1/8 to 1/4 inch. Car still runs and drives just fine, I have put 3k miles on it since the accident. I took the most damage, got whiplash from the impact. Which sucks in case you are wondering, but I'm getting treatment for it.
I put 10K + miles on the swap, runs awesome. Moves pretty good for an automatic, hits 60 at the top of second gear pushing it.
Current plans for restoration are :
2 1/4" exhaust with Magnaflow muffler to replace rotted stock junk
Body and rust repair and paint
Charge A/C
Suspension refresh and integra rear disc
Fix the damn water leaks
87 Si rims, I know a guy with a pile of them
Just the basics there, haha. The gf needs a recent car since her Saturn is a total pile, oil changes itself in a week. Nevermind the list of repairs it needs just to pass inspection. So I figure shes much better off with the Civic, doesnt leak a drop of oil and needs nothing to pass inspection.
