Post YOUR Coupe here

#337747 Hey guys, I'm new to the honda scene. I picked up a 1993 civic dx coupe for $350 from a guy at my dads body shop. It had been wrecked in the front and needed some body work. I ended up having to put two new bumpers, a hood, a driver side door, and a front support. Then it was time for paint. Its frost white with a little pearl and ghost flames.

The previous owner told me that he thought the head was warped but I took it off and had it checked and it was fine. Its a stock d15b7 with 280,000 miles. I painted the valve cover a metallic blue.

I seen a d.i.y. and decided to make an intake pipe to run behind the bumper out of pvc pipe and connectefd it to the stock air box. recently I swapped the transmission out for an s20 y4b transmission out of an ex model for the shorter gears and put in a xtd stage 1 clutch. Its a work in progress, I'm currently trying to find a d16z6 to build for boost.

#337795 how much is your total spending for the total repaint of your car? I'm impressed with this one because it looks neat and new.

#337798 Well I did all the body work and paint prep myself and then my friend sprayed it for next to nothing. He estimated it between $2000-$3000.

#338101 why do you need that large of a tach for a stock d15?

like the color though, flames dont do much for me however.

#339995 I recently purchased a d16a6 head, which I'm having ported and polished and possibly getting a valve job.

I also just installed a 4-2-1 header made by a shop in my area called TCS
