- Tue May 28, 2013 4:52 pm #332204 Got a oem exhaust shield, painted it and splattered a lil purple on it. Also got a Cusco front plate re-locator.

- Tue May 28, 2013 4:55 pm #332205 Also got new exhaust piping done since my old piping was 19 years and I couldn't go any lower because pipe would hit my lca.

- Tue May 28, 2013 5:38 pm #332209 Also about two three months ago, I ended up helping a kid who had been trying to sell his Coupe. Had alot of work that it needed done. Here are a couple pics of stuff I did and stuff it needed.


He got screwed over by someone his parents knew. He got his Honda Stolen last year and then this guy sold him a Coupe that needed a lot of help. But he didn't know that, buying and then trying to sell it this past month.It needed a new starter,idle adjusted, new battery tray,new thermostat housing, thermostat (cause it didn't have one and housing was covered in RTV sealant all the way around,housing bolt was broke in there), fast idle thermo valve nipple was broke off,water tube was leaking and needed to be replaced and the seals as well, valve cover gasket and tube seals needed replacing, dizzy o ring. And its still needs the T-Belt,tensioner and water pump replaced. Oh and the suspension is horrible, ebay coils on stock struts with the coils just sitting there with no rubber grommets holding them in place. I felt bad for the kid and the Poor Ol Coupe.

The Battery Acid ate all the paint...



Old Rusty Battery Tray. Replaced and Battery Tray plastic and battery holder Added.


The Thermostat Housing super corroded,water tube and rubber o-ring. All replaced.




Sanded down, applied rust remover,convertor and protector, then paint. came out ok.




His Coupe and Mine

- Tue May 28, 2013 5:41 pm #332210 Well haven't gotten to the Rear Brakes yet but will. Changed my exhaust mani to another Y8 manifold. Will post pics later and I did do something that needed to get done. I got my Replacement Kontrol Pro shock from K-Sport and redid my coilover. Will be doing a DIY on this. Will be more pics on the DIY Thread.

Done and compressed and had to play with the height just a tad after I put it back in. ;)
