Also when you do it, could i beg for you to post up a DIY of fitting the shocks back on? Just because I'm too much of a woman to do it myself

The bitchy part is if the bolts are rusted/welded. Thats what sucks the most.

Before being Lowered

After being Lowered

Heres a full view of car Lowered. Its on Skunk2 springs with stock struts. I love the ride of them so far...Smooth except for bumps and train tracks. I'm gonna have to learn how to drive a lowered car LOL. I personally love the drop these springs gave me. They took me and a buddy 4 hrs to do. BUT...that included my buddies dog taking 2 of the top strut mount bolts. We looked for them for around an hour and found on in my buddies kitchen, and one in the living room. So, total around 3 hrs of work, smoke breaks, and beer breaks of course!! They are 17s with 205/40s and NO rubbing whatsover. The car will obviously get a little lower after settling. These pics were taken around 45 mins after install and 20 miles. Hope you all like. Please leave opinions good or bad.. Thanks!!!! Ohhhhhhh almost forgot!!! The LCA bolts..NO problems..came right off. Maybe cause I live in AZ where theres hardly any rain.

- Sun May 30, 2010 5:28 pm #197822 looks like my car when i first bought it..My front rubbed but thats becasue the guy that had it beofre me cut the front springs so the tire destroyed the inner fender well and in the rear i couldnt put my finger inbetween the well and tire...oh and your car looks good

yeah he mentioned earlier he was getting a lip right after. But anyways it looks awesome man!! I told you those 17's wouldnt give you a problem! They look perfect!! Hopefully i get mine soon! And ill post some pics also!

The drop for the front is 2 1/2 inches, the rear is 2 1/4.I basically used the honda tech write up. I had to remove the outside LCA bolt as well to get the rear strut out. I also did not use a compressor for the springs. Cut a slit in the middle of a towel, put it over the strut bolt on top, tightne the other ends of it, lay it on the ground with your buddy holding it down while your loosening the nut. The first one was scary, it makes a little "popping" noise. After the 1st..all was well. My next purchase is going to be either headers or a lip. Do headers make that much of a difference? Also, I'm not going to pay that much for a brand name lip. I'll probably get an ebay one or s omething.

Our cars only have one header someone always has to say it! Anyway yeah for me its also header next. Depends on which one you get, the better your car breathes the better! Thats always a must! I think they add good sound too

you mean rattles? as in like its metal to metal? Check to see if your filter is hitting the bottom. Every bump will make it rattle if its touching whatever is underneath it. mine was as first, then I had to tighten the clamps with a ratchet instead of a screwdriver to make it tighter.
