#141193 yeah, no worries man, thanks for info... i did a bunch of little stuff last night, tightened e-brake, fixed the rubbing tire, checked the catch can, changed the oil, fixed timing belt tension, and *tried* to fix the injector o-ring's with the terrible smell.

anywho, i'm going back to school soon so i'm assuming that i'm going to have to tough it out with the current 8 psi for a while until i get a few more $$$, i'll have my new clutch and hopefully new rear main to keep it from leaking.

#141358 Did you "fix" the fuel injector o-ring issue, or did you FIX it? When it comes to the fuel system, I don't dick around with cheapo AutoZone shit. Even though I work there...

Oh, ONLY 8psi...you'll have plenty of fun. In a purple Civic.

#142458 Yeah, get you some OEM seals...for your purple Civic... I paid $5 each for mine back when I changed my IM and IM gasket, but they haven't leaked since then.

Holy shit! I just realized the "laughing" dude is purple, too! I'm easily amused when I'm bored.

Ok, time to go change out my front right strut on my DC4.

well i went to honda today to order up some OEM fuel rail/injector seals, little bastards are expensive.

my new clutch came last week, i got a new axle, new OEM rear main seal and some heater hose so i can mess with my turbo drain.

i will post some pics in a tick...

#142672 so here is my to-do list in about a week and a half's time....

-Install New clutch, pilot bearing, throw-out bearing, rear main, and Re-Surface flywheel (I hope i can find a place) *sent back to LSD for the tuner series instead of the dragger (285ft/lbs)

-install new right side axle check!

-install new injector seals and hopefully fix the leak(s) *today

-re-seal turbo drain flange, new hose for drain check!

-install new dizzy seal *today

-bust out the big FMIC and try to fit it inside my bumper which includes buying some couplers that go from 3" to 2.25" *sold, so going to wait on this as well

-fix catch can leak/maybe make/get new catch can. check!

-*possible heat wrap downpipe*-
-*Possible re-build turbo*- need to order for $100

-install new gauge holder -- *check* --

-I really need to put a FILTER on the damn thing (got some dryer ducting and need to purchase a filter) --ugg

#142924 You better get off your ass and get to work, son!

Clutch isn't that hard. Just kind of time consuming. The biggest issue I ran into on my clutch was the throw out beaing Fidanza sent me with the kit was too tall and I didn't adjust my clutch pedal enough so the inner sleeve mushroomed out and burned a bunch of urea grease in the process.

Take your time on the clutch, you will regret it if you don't.

#144782 hell yeah purple! i really want to re-paint and do body work to it now...maybe keep it same color or black, havent decided yet

but i'm holding off on the clutch...i sent the dragger series (385ft/lbs) back to LSD yesterday and exchanging for the Tuner Series (285ft/lbs) but both with a 6 puck sprung disk

i want to be able to not have problems driving in town and my old clutch is hanging in there for now. i'm going to do it next time before i get re-tuned for ~300hp :woot: :woot:

i start school in a week so it's kind of getting put on hold for a while :(

#148200 well so i got this great idea to order a rebuild kit for my ebay turbo, so i received it in the mail on friday and attempted to repair on saturday.... needless to say, the turbo i had was too far gone to be saved:

the turbine wheels were getting flattened from hitting the housing and it was pumping blue smoke out of the exhaust. i wanted to rebuild so i wouldn't have to re-tune but luck hates me so this is what is left: (pretty much)

so i think im going to cut my bumper out more, get a bigger intercooler, put in my new clutch and *sigh* get a retune but hopefully pushing that 300 barrier

the charge pipes seem pretty clean for the amount of oil burning i saw and the DP was pretty much clean so i'm glad i caught it before i had to clean all that shit and ditch the IC....well life goes on, it's on jack stands AGAIN
