you should paint the coupe tiffany blue & rust the hood a little, really like the whole rat rod look :D :D

i did the whole rusted hood thing it doesnt go well with light colored paint. the rust stains the bumpers and fenders where water runs down.

Im still considering painting the whole car the baby blue color of my wheels or "carolina blue" as my production manager calls it :lol: but the only dilemma with the car being all blue is what color to do the wheels? then it comes down to WHAT FREAKIN WHEELS :x

Diamonds are my favorite wheels ever but the only ones I ever see around here for sale are 15x8s and low to zero offset :thumbdown:

id love to get my crx buttons widened :hehe: might just end up putting them on with the set of 195/60/14 tires i have

- Mon Apr 09, 2012 4:00 am #301312 Well i got these wheels from a guy on craigslist for $150. he had them on his MK2. they are 14x7 with 185/60/14s. he said they around et30 or so. i went up slapped them on to make sure they fit alright and they did so i got them. kinda an impulse buy i didnt really like them at first but i thought maybe they could be nice. they kinda look alot more like VW wheels than honda wheels but i got them anyway even though the tires are kinda dry rotted i wanted to see what they could look like before buying new tires for them

cleaned them up with some steel wool and gum cutter stuff

they came with center caps but they stuck way out like lockouts on a 4x4 lol plus one was smashed at the end

so i cut them down to 1 inch tall

and used a little magic and voodoo and whatnot i made some custom center caps

taped them up for some krylon blue ocean breeze

unless you are right up close you cant even tell that the center caps are jerry rigged out of glue and soda cans :lol:

they are growing on me... alot. the ONLY thing i dont like is how they have slots and not holes like my steelies... i thought about having them welded up and then having holes drilled by a machine shop but i bet it would be very expensive to have all that done

I love how they fill out the fender wells and how i was able to keep the blue on chrome look that i love so much.

im going to get tires and run them for awhile and if i find other wheels i find other wheels. if not oh well ill have tires for these wheels that will also fit on my button wheels
