There is a very simple, two-step solution to your problem;
1. Remove the FMU and toss it away as far as you possibly can, and forget you ever made that mistake... FMU's were a late 90's solution to a problem wich nowadays is being solved in a much better way, see step two;
2. Get the right sized injectors (in your case I think 440cc should do the trick, or just to be on the safe side; use either 525 or 550cc injectors) and have the engine tuned by an expert using programs like Neptune, or eCtune, or Crome Pro, or Hondata, or whatever.
I run Neptune, and I love it
Use a stock fuel pressure regulator with it.
You'll notice better gas mileage, a smoother/stronger running motor (you'll actually gain hp by doing what I advise you), a more reliable or durable engine, etc.
