#100741 *** FOR THE LAZY PEOPLE THAT DONT WANT DETAILS HERE IS A SHORT VERSION AFTER ABOUT 3K CAR COMPLETLY LOSES POWER I THOUGHT IT WAS BECAUSE I WAS RUNNING IT ON A STOCK FUEL SYSTEM THEN I GOT 450CC INJECTORS AND A 255 WALBRO FUEL PUMP BUT ITS STILL DOING IT, PROBLEM CAN BE CUZ THE CAR IS NOT YET TUNED THATS WHAT IM THINKING JUST WANTED TO HEAR THOUGHTS***

for those that wanna read :

just a side note to the people that are gonna flame with "why are you driving a un-tuned car!?" -answer is becuase if anything is to go wrong i want it to go wrong on my first pull cuz if u take it to a tuner and it blow up u still gotta pay him and hes not responsible.

It probably isnt but i have never ran into this problem before in my entire life

heres basically the build

junk yard turbo kit home fabbed and shit

i built a b20vtec and decided to turbo it cuz it was low comp so i finish the motor and slap on the turbo kit and decide just to take it for a few spools to make sure it was all correct tho at this time i ran using stock fuel pump and stock injectors, when i would hit about 3-4k RPM the motor would just go face down lose all power almost as if the fuel pump just completly shut off. so i ended up cracking ring glands on the piston. so i go back to the fort and this time pick up some manley pistons, ported the head and i did a few other things ARP rod studs etc.. and this time i put on some 450cc DSM injectors with a walbro 255 fuel pump
and i just noticed that my 94 integra LS does not have a resistor box for the injectors so i picked one up. I do have FMU it might be a 1:1

anyways too much bullshit im talking too much, has anyone herd of anything like this happening?

to sum it all up im thinking its only doing this cuz its untuned & or i might need to get a fuel pressure regulator even tho i have a FMU.

#100787 If it happens every time around 3-4K I would assume its a problem with your tune/ecu. Probably something in the FMU thats not set correctly.

I recommend getting it Professionally chipped and tuned ASAP, If you want to try to figure it out before hand, you can play with your FMU and look at your fuel maps and what not, see if anything looks off,

#100888 blah i just saw that a kuffler got knocked off, but i dont believe thats what was causing the problem

#109968 Omg... r u for real? i would never bother with an fmu for a start. its quite obviously not getting the right fuel and you cant just slap on bigger injectors and expect them to work? The injecters will be opening at the rate for stock injectors and pumping twice as much fuel in
