I was just looking at the T04E turbos on EBAY, and for some reason they are all going for like 125 to 185 USD... is that normal or are they going to be a bunk deal.? ie, CXracing was selling this kit for 300.00

* T3 T04E Turbo Charger, .50 A/R Compressor, .63A/R Turbine 3" Inlet & 2" Outlet, 300 to 350HP
* 5-Bolt Turbo Exhaust Flange
* Civic B18 Stainless Steel Exhaust Manifold
* Blow Off Valve + 2.5" Aluminum BOV Flange Pipe Kit
* 38MM Wastegate, 8PSI
* Turbo Oil Feeding Line kit
I guess im just baffled about how affordable that is, and maybe its too good to be true. If its legit im pretty sure ill be boosting by the spring. thanks

You get what you pay for, if it's too good to be true it usually ise... these are the rules for ebay purchasing.

Basically with these types of things they will be built with cheap materials and will most likely leak, and fail..... miserably

Forget the eBay junk and save up for that if you're looking for cheap boost.

I might go with generic intercooler or piping, but don't cheap out on the manifold (they break) or the wastegate (controls the psi of your whole system) or the turbo (the heart of your system)

remember you'll need to save $$$$ for tuning + engine management and fuel delivery as well.

thanks for all the feed back, thats pretty much what I was thinking as far as a "cheap" turbo, you get out of it what you put into it
